Thriving Churches & Compassion Trip to Kenya
I just had an amazing experience with TCI and Compassion International.
Thriving Churches International (TCI) is a relational resource network. Part of our passion is to insure that churches are thriving...having a passion for Outreach, Spiritual Growth, and Developing Leaders. As I see it, a passion for Outreach means personal witness, local witness, and global witness. To that end, we have a MAJOR partnership with Compassion International. Compassion is an AMAZING ministry. They have 3 major ministry programs: Child Survival (provides medical, feeding, and development work for children at the earliest stages...literally saving the lives of children), Child Sponsorship (helping children be educated, loved, and cared for), and Leadership Development Program (a very competitive program taking young people and paying for university education).
Recently a group of 17 TCI pastors and 3 Compassion leaders toured Compassion's work in Kenya. You can read about the trip here: http://www.baysideonline.com/kenya/ Read from the bottom up and you'll catch a flavor of the experience.
If you are interested in going on future trips, or learning more about the TCI/Compassion partnership, email me at john@thrivingchurches.com
We will have the Thrive 2010 site live in about 10 days...in the meantime, visit the www.thrivingchurches.com site to learn more about TCI and what we do.
I want to thank Compassion International and Thriving Churches for their heartbeat for HIM!

Your tax-deductible contribution of just $38 a month connects your child with a loving, church-based child sponsorship program that provides:
- Food and clean water Medical care
